چکیده

We present ALMA CO(2-1) observations of the Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 3281 at $\sim$ 100 pc spatial resolution. This was previously known to a bi-conical ionised gas outflow extending kpc from nucleus. The analysis CO moment and channel maps, as well kinematic modelling reveals two main components in molecular gas: one rotating plane another outflowing up 1.8 -- 2.6 nucleus, partially encasing component. mass component is $M_{\mathrm{mol},\mathrm{out}}$ = $(2.5\pm1.6){\times}10^{6}$ $\rm{M_{\odot}}$, representing 1.7 % total seen emission within inner 2.3 kpc. corresponding rate power are $\dot{M}_{\mathrm{mol},\mathrm{out}}$ 0.12 0.72 $\rm{M_{\odot} yr^{-1}}$ $\dot{E}_{\mathrm{mol},\mathrm{out}}$ (0.045 1.6) ${\times} 10^{40}$ $\rm{erg s^{-1}}$, which translates kinetic coupling efficiency with AGN only $10^{-4}$ 0.02 %. value reaches 0.1 when including both feedback gas, considering that part energy couples kinetically gas. Some non-rotating can also be attributed inflow towards similarity X-ray those other sources, suggests this may common property galactic outflows.

0 The Biconical Outflow in the Seyfert Galaxy NGC 2992

We report on a detailed kinematic study of the galactic-scale outflow in the Seyfert galaxy NGC 2992. The TAURUS-2 Imaging Fabry-Perot Interferometer was used on the Anglo-Australian 3.9-m telescope to derive the two-dimensional velocity field of the Hα-emitting gas over the central arcminute of NGC 2992. The complete two-dimensional coverage of the data combined with simple kinematic models of...

Asca Observations of the Ionized Gas in the Seyfert Galaxy

We present the results from ASCA observations of NGC 3783 carried out during 1993 and 1996. Variability is observed both between the two epochs and within the individual observations, the latter due to a non-stationary process. We find the spectra at both epochs to contain features due to absorption by ionized material, predominantly due to Ovii and Oviii. We find the opacity for such material ...

Evidence for an outflow from the Seyfert galaxy NGC 4051

New observations using narrow band imaging, long-slit spectroscopy and MERLIN observations of the nuclear region of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 4051 have been made. An edge brightened, triangular region of ionized gas extending 420 pc from the centre of the galaxy has been detected. Long-slit spectra of this ionised gas, taken at 1.5 from the core, show the [O iii] 5007-Å emission line to consist of...

The ionized gas in the spiral galaxy NGC 3359

We combine Hα imaging and broad-band optical and NIR imaging over the face of the barred galaxy NGC 3359, obtained within the BARS program on the Canary Island telescopes. From the Hα image we have determined the positions, fluxes, and diameters of a total of 547 Hii regions, and computed their luminosity function, whose slope is within the range of those of morphologically similar galaxies fou...

Ionized Gas inside the dwarf irregular galaxy NGC 6822 1

We have studied the differences between the diffuse ionized gas (DIG) and the H ii regions along a slit position in the local dwarf irregular galaxy NGC 6822. The slit position passes through the two most prominent H ii regions: Hubble V and Hubble X. Important differences have been found in the excitation, ionization, and [N ii]λ6584Å/Hα and [S ii]λ6717Å/Hα line ratios between the DIG and the ...
